A huge congratulations are in order to Sarah Burton for winning the Designer Of The Year award at last night’s Harper’s Bazaar ceremony. Its been one helluva busy year for the Alexander McQueen designer and we couldn’t be prouder.

Feathers Fashion 
The “New Establishment” award – introduced this year by the British Fashion Council to “recognise a particular movement in British fashion that is taking the industry by storm” – was won by Christopher Kane. And the British Fashion Council panel named Kim Jones, recently recruited by the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, as menswear designer of the year. Notable non-winners on the Savoy’s red-carpet included Jones’ boss, the American designer Marc Jacobs, and the actress Kate Hudson.
