Was anyone else up until 3.30am watching the Golden Globes? No, just us? Ok, well don’t fret as we’ve saved the best bits for this post – the elusive dresses, jewels, shoes and little box bags that always leave us wondering how on earth they fit their essential bits in to?!

Here are our top 10 Gals (and 1 guy):

In at number 1 is Tilda Swinton in Feathers’ favourite, Haider Ackermann. The soft pale blue combined with Swinton’s androgynous look is a match made in heaven.

In Second Place is Piper Perabo in a perfectly minimal pale lavender Theyskens’ Theory gown designed by Olivier Theyskens.

In Third Position is everyone’s favourite kooky girl Zooey Deschanel in custom made Prada. We’re a little unsure about the hair but overall Zooey gets major points for doing style Golden Globe her way.

In at number 4 is Emma Stone in Lanvin. The plum colour is a perfect choice for the red-head and the leather eagle motif belt adds a tougher edge which is always a nice surprise on the red carpet…

In Fifth Place is new Queen of Darkness Rooney Mara in a black Peter Copping for Nina Ricci racy number. We have a feeling that on Rooney, black will never be boring….

In at number 6 is Leonardo DiCaprio bringing in the HANDSOME in a dapper suit and perfect bow tie

In Seventh Place is Clare Danes in J Mendel. Elegant with a capital “E”.

In Eighth Place is Mila Kunis in Dior. Another actress with a dark side in which black is always suitable and interesting.

In Ninth Place is Diana Agron in Giles. Although we are unsure about the dress itself (perhaps one detail too many), we love the fact that Diana has taken a risk with a British designer.

and finally in Tenth Place is Dame Helen Mirren who we are convinced is ageing backwards. Forgetting the dress, the hair and make-up is flawless….
