Happy Friday! In Feathers HQ we’ve been overwhelmed with joy these past few months when we found out that our E-commerce Manager Susan is expecting twins! Besides all the mummy talks of food and nutritions for pregnancy, what we’ve been excited about is to dress the bump.
So we’ve come up with this edit, and our beautiful mum-to-be has hand picked 5 of her favourite looks from SS15.
Look 1: The Bohemian Rhapsody
Extremely comfortable and carefree, the embroidered beading details add an edge to the soft bohemian style.
Featuring Dassio Denim Embroidered Waistcoat(Available in store)/ Markus Lupfer Tribal Rhino T-shirt / Etro Silk Paisley Print Skirt
Look 2: The sophisticate
The classic shape always works best with a modern accent like adding bright coloured accessories. This look is office appropriate and still not compromised on comfort. This is an outfit that works for women of all sizes whether pregnant or not!
Featuring Jil Sander ‘Tangeri’ One button coat/ Jil Sander ‘Xiao’ Tote/ Alexander McQueen Leopard Print Silk Scarf
Look 3: Fun Times
Perfect for a day in the park or on the beach. This imaginative look brings out the kid in you and is so much fun!
Featuring Tsumori Chisato Greek Village Print Dress/ Moschino Iced Lolly I phone Case/ Linda Farrow ‘241’ Sunglasses
Look 4: The Lady
My favourite look of all. Love a ladylike monochromatic look like this with a pop of colour, the vivid prints from the Etro scarf and tote makes the look more interesting.
Featuring Grevi Hat(Available in store)/ Tsumori Chisato Love Hem Shirt/ Sacai Luck Open Slit Pleated Skirt/ Etro Floral Print Toto/ Etro Paisley Print Scarf
Definitely a winner if you are looking for an evening gown that’s elegant and comfy at the same time. This Alexander McQueen evening gown has a built in corset to keep everything in place when you move around. It is certainly an investment piece as you can still wear it post-pregnancy!
Featuring Alexander McQueen Draped Bustier Gown/ Mawi ‘Triple Firefly’ Necklace
